Hmm... maybe I should actually write something about myself here; it seems to be the fashion these days and I can pretend it counts as doing something productive. So, yeah. The picture above is a drawing that I paid $5 for at Anime Weekend in Atlanta in 2005.
I am currently attending grad school for my Master of Science degree and Connecticut teaching certification in elementary education. My undergraduate degree was in cognitive science. I am far from your typical elementary school teacher. Only rarely do I wear pastels and I spend my free time reading (sci-fi, fantasy, manga, or Orwell), playing video games on my playstation 2 (mostly rpgs-currently Unlimited Saga(much more awesome than people give it credit for!)), or watching anime (currently into Read or Die and Inu Yasha). In addition, I have horrible spelling and no, I didn't play "School" or with dollies when I was little. Also, I'm Buddhist. I have deep respect for other people's beliefs. If you try to convert me I'll probably tolerate it by ignoring you in general.
